School Council

The school has an elected, representative group who have an input into various aspects of school life.
This School Pupil Council are shown below:




E-Cadets is a scheme designed to help children learn about and develop an awareness of “Safe” use of the Internet and World Wide Web.

As a responsible school we support this and each year select a team of children from various year groups to take part in a dedicated programme of Internet Education.

Meet the Eco Action Team!

• Each class now has an eco-team which consists of children whose role is one of the following:

• Pupil Councillors –
We help to write the school’s Eco policies. We meet regularly to discuss any Eco issues and to devise ways of making Bishop Eton more Eco-friendly!

• Switch-off Monitors –
We remind staff and pupils to switch lights and electrical appliances off when not in use.

• Recycling Monitors –
We encourage staff and pupils to recycle paper and card.

• Window Monitors –
We make sure the windows around our school are clean to allow as much natural light through as possible.
