CAFOD Visit

April 4, 2018

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On Tuesday of this week we had a visitor from the CAFOD charity. The lady told the whole school assembly about the work of the organisation, in particular, in Bolivia, South America. She showed it how it was important to have the right conditions for Bolivian farmers to grow fresh food.

If it was too hot or too cold or the soil wasn’t in good condition then the farmers crops would not grow and people would be left hungry. If it didn’t rain enough then crops would die. CAFOD is helping them in many ways to overcome problems and enable the farmers to grow sustainable foods and help to get them out of poverty.

As a school we help to raise money which goes to CAFOD and they use it to do Gods’ charitable work around the world.
